Airport Advisory Committee

The Airport Advisory Committee is a volunteer organization made up of community members, both pilots and non-pilots. The committee helps to establish directions for airport issues such as growth, instrument approaches, and policies, by providing considered, knowledgeable advice to Mendocino County, the California Department of Transportation, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Little River Airport Airport Advisory Committee (LRAAC) is appointed by the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors. The committee grew out of an earlier Ad Hoc Airport Advisory Committee which met from March 1995 to January 1998. The Mendocino County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution creating the official advisory group, and the LRAAC's first meeting was in February 1998.

The meeting minutes archive contains all records since the group's inception, including minutes from the ad hoc committee from 1995 to 1998 and the official advisory committee thereafter.

Also see the page containing the reports compiled by the LRAAC.

Note: the following documents have been made available
by the county with regard to vegetation management at
the airport. These are in PDF format. Contact Jeff if you
have any difficulty accessing or viewing them.
