Has confirmation been received that last year's $150,000 from the FAA has successfully been rolled over to this year? Can the AAC be helpful in the process of preparing an application for securing last year's and this year's FAA funding for the airport? Have you selected the projects to be funded yet? Can the AAC be of any further assistance with respect to the hangar project? Please let me know if there is anything you need from us. Am I correct in believing that the Board has approved the hangar project and asked DOT to take the lead in implementing it? Also, the AAC passed a resolution supporting the Woods' traffic safety committee's effort to improve the safety of Little River Airport Road, while preserving its rural residential nature. The AAC is now wrestling with the Airport Master Plan, working to agree on a strategy for updating it. And we are also trying to reach closure on a recommendation for a temporary dog park location. Respectfully Yours, Tim Scully, Ph.D. Chair, LRAAC --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Tim Scully Sent: June 14, 2001 1:31 PM To: 'Dave Brewer'; Tim Scully Subject: RE: LRP Sure, it is fine to distribute copies. Some questions which occurred to me while reading the plan: Can we use text and diagrams from the existing plan? What did people object to in this plan? Or was it just the way it was created? How was the movie company for Majestic transported to the coast? What part did the airport play?
